Same God...

The way they did things in the 1900's is not the way we do them now. Everything is different, except God. We are waking up, more aware, & see things differently. Many of us don't even want to do things they way they used to be done, when people just fell in line, believed whatever they were told at work, at church, at home, by the television & news channels. There is an entire generation of people who lived by this philosophy, believing all they were told, never questioning anything. They still want to believe that everything they believe is true & do not want to imagine that they could believe a lie. They want to believe that the world they live in is exactly as they perceive it. Wouldn't that be comforting for that to be true, for all of us? They are stubborn, & stubbornness, being stiff-necked, is sinful & offensive to Jesus Christ. They do not like the younger generations coming in questioning & changing things. I admit, there have been times I have not appreciated the pushback by young people, by my own children who are adults now. Cell phones came on the scene & we have been programmed to regard those alerts that come across the screen. We go against what we truly think & believe, we ignore our own thoughts to heed that which is deceptive. Even when it does not make sense, many believe what they are told because they were never taught that it is ok to ask questions or think for themselves. Too many people are creatures of habit, simply doing things because that is the way they have always done them.

People in their teens, 20's, 30's, & even some older than that are waking up & questioning everything. At my youngest son's High School graduation last year, the valedictorian spoke about "questioning everything" & not simply believing what they are told. I get behind that message. God does not mind being questioned; but the government does; satan does. The mold is being broken, a little at a time, by not simply believing what we have been told. And the government is having to try harder & harder to convince people of their deceptions. The older generations, the one's who believed whatever they were told, are starting to pass on, & the newer generations, who question narratives, aren't as easy to convince or control. The news programming can't control us; "science" & "aerospace" can't control us; political parties can't control us; chaos can't control us; "medicine" & pharmakeia can't control us; satan & evil can't control us. God is waking people up to what is TRUTH & what is deception. More people are questioning everything, including God! They are questioning all they have been taught.

Many people are leaving the church because it has failed them; failed to introduce them to Jesus, failed to allow them to use the spiritual gifts that a Holy God has placed inside of them. The church is simply a business used to keep people in control. "Do this, don't do that. Think this, don't think that." Even the feel-good prosperity Gospel is manipulative in that it teaches people they can have all they want, or that all they need is already inside of them; that they are just meant to feel good all the time. And many are worse off because they don't feel good all the time & wonder why, wonder what is wrong with them.

We have dunamis power inside of us when we are full of Holy Spirit, & have no idea what to do with that. Few places actually allow Holy Spirit to move & operate. People feel like they are bursting at the seems & they need an outlet for that power within. The church isn't fostering that gift so they turn to the things of the world & the demonic because that power can be released; even if its in a negative way. This dunamis power is the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, & it lives inside of every Holy Spirit-filled believer. It is a gift that needs to be used, otherwise, the person may feel like they are put inside a box & they need to get out. When it is not used for the kingdom of God, it does not just go away; God's gifts are irrevocable. This power is redirected to be used in the other kingdom, for evil rather than for good. Witches, warlocks, satanists, luciferians, the occult, & demonic all know & believe in the power of the spiritual realm. They know the reality of the supernatural; they use witchcraft because it works. But they are not using the power of God to access the spirit realm, but rather a backdoor, unauthorized access, so its unholy & profane. The occult is more than willing to receive those Spirit-filled people who have been shunned from the church. There, the people receive an outlet for their gifts, they receive acceptance, & feel powerful, which feels good when the church rejects you. Sounds good in theory until you find out all the consequences for serving satan...

Most churches have a form of godliness but no power (2 Timothy 3:5). People in the church who refuse Holy Spirit & shun those full of Holy Spirit are operating in witchcraft, whether they know it or not. They have un-holy spirits, demons, keeping them blind, dumb, ignorant, & arrogant, rejecting Truth; Jesus is Truth. They are not to fear but rather to be rebuked. A church where there is no Holy Spirit is dead. It looks dead, it feels dead, people there just going through the motions, looking like zombies, doing what they're told, emotionless, expressionless, no life, no change, no Jesus. Just a place to go out of habit, sitting in the same spot, going through the same program, same series of events, week after week, month after month, year after year. A place to socialize & talk about all your woes but never seeking, seeing, or believing for any change or healing. Hoping that being is church is enough. Too many people are in church but not in Christ. And when Jesus does show up, they reject Him, because we are arrogant & believe we know all there is to know about Jesus. Too many people think the church or the pastor is the answer, never meeting Jesus or getting to know Him. They allow the church or pastor to be everything to them, but only Jesus can do that. We are making idols when we seek, praise, or trust anything other than God; which are the 1st & 2nd commandments: Have no other gods before me, & do not make for yourself idols. No man (or woman) can be our Holy Spirit, nor can any man (or woman) forgive sins.

Just because my small human brain cannot comprehend or imagine how big God is, or the things He can do, does not mean something is impossible for Him. So many arrogantly believe they know God & His way better than anyone else. They have put God in a box. The God they worship can only move within the parameters they have set for Him; He can only move how they think He should, can only be who they have decided He can be. And He is so gracious, He stays where He has been put, but can still move mightily from such a confined space! BUT! I let my God out of the box! I asked Him to move FREELY in my life, to move & do whatever & however He sees fit! If He wants to part the seas, DO IT! If He wants to bring dry bones back to life, DO IT! If He wants to write on my wall with His finger, DO IT! If He wants to flip tables, DO IT! I do not want God to be hindered in any way!

The God of the Bible is still the same God. He still wants to move, but He can only do as much as we allow Him to do. We have free-will, & He will not override that. By quenching Holy Spirit, we are giving power to the demonic realm. By denying the power of God, we are approving satans agendas. We think we know somethin', but we ain't seen nothin' yet! Find a church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are allowed to operate, where Jesus is welcome. They are likely few & far between, but they are out there! I am blessed to belong to such a church!
